Internships and work experience in law
The offices regularly seek law student interns to assist staff attorneys in legal research, preparation of legal documents, and work with clients.
You will learn a lot about the legal system. You will also have the possibility to attend to trials to see in the Court what you have previously studied. You would go along with your supervisor.
The teams of lawyers are very dynamic and they always have much work. For that reason the participants will be able to learn much in just a short time on the laws.

Computer skills are a plus.
Interns are expected to comply with data protection laws.
Intern will prepare written descriptions of client needs and correspondence and will assist the lawyers as required.
Skills you could acquire
- How to fill out basic paperwork, how to stand up in court and address judge, legal writing.
- Office administrative skills, investigative skills, legal and strategically knowledge, interpersonal skills.
What past interns have done
- Complete petitions to the immigration service, attend court hearings, attend clients interviews, complete research.
- Conduct legal research on corporate immigration and tax issues, attend meetings with other attorneys and with clients, assist in drafting agreements and other legal documents.
- Research, draft pleadings and discovery, fill out necessary paperwork to enter a guilty plea, assist in interview criminal clients, attend a trial.
- Establish and maintain case files, calendars and schedules, retrieve standard documentation on cases, locate, organize, collate and assess information, locate and interview witnesses, assist in client interviews, write case memoranda, conduct legal research, asses and annotate trial and hearing transcripts, draft legal documents, establish and maintain relationships with co-counsel and opposing counsel.
